Education/Outreach
More than 50% of our education program is funded through the
Department of State Health Services. These funds provide Hidalgo, Cameron and
Willacy counties with services such as Risk Reduction Strategies, Testing,
Counseling, Education and specific evidence based interventions. For more

Our Title IV Youth Initiative project targeting adolescents age 13 to 24,
provides education, testing, resources and hosts an advisory group of
community stakeholders whose primary focus is services for youth. For

Our most recent federally funded five year project know as Mi Vida Nueva
targets substance use, HIV and Hepatitis C among at risk Minority and Reentry
Minority populations. We are in the development of the Strategic Planning
Framework for year one and partner with Sandstone Health Care. For other CSAP
