Everyone is struggling with the current crisis and we want you to know that in this unprecedented experience, we are still here for you . Although we must still practice physical distancing, we remind you that we do not need to be isolated. In light of this new reality, at Valley AIDS Council / Westbrook Clinic, we remain committed to stopping the spread of this virus, keeping you and your family safe, and limiting the burden on our health care system, including keeping you out of the emergency department. Therefore, Westbrook Clinic has implemented a telemedicine system, which will allow our community to continue receiving medical and behavioral health care, whenever possible. This will also allow us to keep you safe and prevent from visiting the emergency room, unless absolutely necessary.
If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your primary healthcare provider for medical advice.
Stay safe, stay healthy, we are with you in this time.
Valley AIDS Council/Westbrook Clinic is closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. At this time, all offices, programs and services will be operating strictly within the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, there will be no late clinic for the next 8 weeks.
You can prevent the spread of respiratory illness in our community by washing your hands often, covering your cough or sneeze, staying home when you are sick and cleaning frequently touched objects and surfaces. These actions will also prevent the common cold and flu.
As more information about COVID-19 becomes available, the VAC/WC will provide updates to staff and community.
