This brochure provides an introduction to “curanderismo.” It will enhance the provider’s ability to initiate conversations with patients who practice this form of traditional healing/complementary and alternative medicine. The brochure includes common myths about curanderismo, benefits of knowing about curanderismo, useful terminology, and potential interactions between commonly used herbal/alternative remedies and conventional medicine.
